The ministries of this church are the life blood of this church.  You will want to become involved where your spiritual needs can be fulfilled and where you can share what God has done in your life.  Whether it is joining in community service or becoming part of the youth group we want for you to find a  place to serve and a place to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Make sure you check out the ministry opportunities we have to offer!

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency is commonly called ADRA. ADRA is a registered Canadian Charity and is a worldwide humanitarian agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. ADRA works with people in poverty and distress to create a positive change in their lives. ADRA supports people in need without preference for or discrimination against ethnicity, religion or political affiliation in over 120 countries. We assist people in overcoming hardships and distress by improving access to food, water, shelter and education. We also train people to start their own business, or to grow their own food. For more information please click here.
Does ADRA work in Canada? The short answer is yes, wherever there is a need or a disaster strikes, ADRA is there. The Hanna Seventh-day Adventist Church is a strong supporter of ADRA, and receives a matching grant from ADRA to carry on work in our community. We have worked in partnership with the Hanna Food Bank for the past ten years. Twice a year, the Food Bank gives us a list of needed supplies. Our church then buys as much as possible from the list.

Hymn Sing

Hymn Sing is an outreach program of the Hanna Seventh-day Adventist Church. Each program starts at 7:30 PM and lasts for approximately one hour of singing the old hymns. It is open to all members of the community. After each program, all attendees are invited to enjoy some snacks and some socializing in the fellowship hall. The musicians and individuals, doing special numbers, come from all churches. Many people return for each session of Hymn Sing we hold. We are truly thankful for all who participate in anyway. Because of the community participation, this outreach program has been highly successful.
Check out our website for the date of our next Hymn Sing. We certainly welcome you to come and enjoy praising the Lord through music and song. Without your help and support, this program wouldn't be possible. Will we see you at our next Hymn Sing?
